It’s time to castrate the hogs
Am I the only person out there who feels assaulted when a Harley Davidson thunders past at full, deafening throttle? Who do these people think they are?
Yes, I know, we live in the land of the free where people do as they please. But wait; there’s nothing liberating about 1 LOUD hog terrorizing (ok, thoroughly aggravating) 99 bystanders.
(In my previous life I actually visited Harley’s HQ to pitch their top brass on a rash of M&A and financing alternatives. I recall trying to sell them a snowmobile company from Canada, which didn’t go over so well.)
Anyway, back to issue at hand. I have no problem with Harleys out on the open road, but these things should be muffled in city centers where they break the peace (with or without Stella T).
